The 2008 Bude triathlon was held today so now its feedback time. How did your day go? Vote now in the tri-cornwall post event poll. There has been a delay in sending out information about this event in 2008, as a number of problems have needed to be overcome. The delay has resulted in an unfavourable rescheduling of this event, which means it will be held on Thursday 28th of August at 1pm, so in the event that you are free on that day, feel free to download the entry info in pdf format above. It’s hoped that the event will be held again on a weekend next year.
This is a charity swim and all monies raised are in aid of the Macmillan cancer charity.
Bude triathlon is this weekend, and news has it that Devon triathletes among others are massing on Cornish borders as I write, with the intention of sending raiding parties in an attempt to loot some prized silverware. The raiders almost too numerous to mention will use stealth and possibly camp out before launching their attack. The skirmish believed to be targetted at the Bude triathlon (which is full by the way) will take place on the 29th.
Will Cornish triathletes move North to protect our borders from this incursion? Drop back over the weekend for more as these events unravel.
The 3rd in a series of five duathlon (run/cycle/run) events is to be held on the 23rd of July. The series started on May 28th, with an event held on the last wednesday of each month until the end of September. Current series leaders are Jason Pascoe and Juliet Knowles.
The event starts from the Sandsifter at Godrevy at 7pm, with registration at least 15minutes beforehand, and an entry fee of £10.

The results from the 2nd in the series of the Godrevy duathlon are now here in pdf format. The race was won by current series leader Jason Pascoe in 1:11:59, just a few seconds slower than his May winning time. Juliet Knowles finished as 1st lady again but in a time 3minutes slower than her may winning time. In all 29 entrants took part in this event, which is an increase on may.
